Chapter Life

  • Xi Xi celebrates its 6-1 victory over Beta in the Slap Shot on Cancer game.

Since 1855, Sigma Chi fraternity has called for excellence in its core values of friendship, justice, and learning. These values continue to shine through the active Xi Xi Chapter in our campus involvement, leadership roles, and philanthropic efforts.

Friendship
We recognize our time at 500 S. College is precious, and in celebrating our time among brothers, we build and maintain relationships through social functions. Game day tailgates with alumni and date parties enable valuable networking experiences. Sharing these experiences encourage lasting bonds.

Learning
Academic achievement is of utmost importance to our Chapter. Last year, more than 60 members received scholarships through our scholarship program. We hope to continue this upward trend and strive to place ourselves among the strongest academic chapters.

Justice
Our Chapter takes great pride in our philanthropic involvement. Members actively participate in campus-wide events such as Greek Week and Homecoming, as well as put on our own philanthropy events. This year was our inaugural Slap Shot on Cancer event, raising money through a week of smaller events and ending with a hockey game in which members participated. Members also hold leadership positions across campus in organizations like the Missouri Student Association, Rockin’ Against Multiple Sclerosis, and many more.
